This is an event class to make "Koinobori" (carp streamers) with handmade stamps to decorate your home for Children's Day, a traditional Japanese children's event.

◆Dates ：
1st ： April 24 （ Sun ） 3pm-4pm （ PST ）
2nd ： April 25 （ Mon ） 2pm-3pm （ PST ）
◆Attendees ： 4 years old and up
◆Cost ： $20/time

Learn about Japanese traditions with easy-to-understand explanations such as "What is Children's Day ？? In crafts, we will design the Koinobori scales using a "stamp mold".
Stamps can be toys in your room, things you can find in your kitchen, or anything else the children like according to their sensibilities.

Using the finished Koinobori, the class will have fun deepening their understanding of Japanese culture by playing a flag-raising game together and singing the "Koinobori" song together.
Teacher Mihoko, who has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education in Japan and the U.S., will gently help the children to create art that makes the most of their individuality.
